HOW DO I GET THERE?
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TRAVEL THERE?
Not that much actually.. a few hunded euros should take you from anywhere in Europe for example.
HOW DO I GET AROUND?
The camp grounds and gathering site are very close and intimate. Distances are relatively flat and manageable.
CAN I BRING MY CAR / CAMPER / CARAVAN?
Yes, but this will require an extra ticket if you want to park inside the official gathering site. You can most likely park just outside for free.. More info when we have the location.
CAN I BRING KIDS, PARENTS AND DOGS?
We encourage you to bring both children and elders, the whole family, but please leave all captured animals at home. No dogs.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
Anything can happen, and all seasons may occur in one day. But most the time its nice, warm and stable in the south of Norway at this time of the year. 20+ deegres and plenty of sun is expected. All seasons may occur.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN FOOD?
You are encouraged to bring some food to the gathering. You are free to enjoy it everywhere, and even share it. But you dont have to bring it, there will be something to eat available at the gathering also.
WILL YOU PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER?
Yes. We will provide a water refill station, just remember to bring your reusable water bottles, and perhaps a larger canister for your camp.
ANY COOKING / KITCHEN FACILITIES?
No, you will have to bring all of that, but there are fires for barbecuing, water for cleaning cutlery and a headquarters selling things you may need to survive.
CAN I HAVE A SHOWER DURING THE FESTIVAL?
We won’t have any shower facilities on site, but bring a cloth and some environmentally friendly soap – and you can go for a traditional norwegian “kattevask’” with cold fresh water tap, or take a dip in the lake. One can also enjoy our sauna service.
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PREPARE?
You will receive a detailed event guide with all the information you need to stay safe, happy and prepared for Soria.
