Cancellation and Force Majeure Policy. If Soria Gathering is forced to cancel, cut short, move, or significantly alter the event due to circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, authorization loss, change in regulation or other force majeure events), we reserve the right to either move, reschedule or completely cancel the event. Because these situations are unpredictable, we do not operate a automatic refund policy. Instead, refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances at the time. In the event of a total cancellation, our goal is to issue partial or full refunds wherever possible, subject to unrecoverable event production costs.
Responsibility, nature and weather: The gathering site is in pristine nature, and very exposed to all kinds of weather all year around. Festival may be cancelled or stopped at any time due to bad weather, we will not issue any refunds in this case, but instead try to prolong, postpone or adapt. The gathering organizers are not responsible for any accidents that may happen to festival attendees in contact with nature. Please respect the mountains, the ocean and the wind. Stay safe, follow weather forecasts and take care of each other.
If you choose to cancel your attendance / transfer your ticket: If you bought a ticket, but for some reason you can not attend the event please log in to the website and change the name of your ticket manually. You can not sell your tickets through our channels, like for example the comment field at the fb-event. Tickets must be sold independently by you and you must change the name of the ticket yourself on the ticket page (this is how you do it). We do not provide any transfer-service. You are responsible that the new ticketholder gets all the information neccesary, and that the ticket is registered at the correct holder. ONE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE GATHERING IF THE NAME ON THE TICKET DOES NOT MATCH OUR DATABASE.
Age, family and animals: We do not have a minimum age limit for attendees. In fact we encourage you to bring the family, there will definitely be daytime activities suitable for all the family. However, all minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult, please be aware that this is an outdoor site in nature and there are a certain amount of dangers. Please don’t let children wonder around the site alone. We ask all attendees at abide by Norwegian law when it comes to the consumption of alcohol. Captured animals are prohibited in this festival. No dogs.
Alcohol, intoxification. When it comes to alcohol we will not sell anything. Please abide by Norwegian alcohol laws. Soria Gathering is not about avoiding the hustle and bustle of everyday life to have a blast on the vacation. Our events have higher aspirations than that, and should lead to liberation and development for everyone involved. In fact you can dance much longer into the night if you don’t over consume alcohol. Under no circumstances will illegal substances be tolerated. Please do not bring them to the event. This event will have authorised security, if anyone is found to be causing a disturbance or nuisance for any reason we will seek to have them ejected from the event. Get high on life – not substances
Sex, dating, nudity and consent. When it comes to sexual acitivities and expressions – despite Sorias general support for everything liberated, please bear in mind that it is a family friendly event as well. Be extra cautious with nudity and sexual expressions near areas and times where children are active. Never get involved in sexual activity without a unmistakable consent. If you feel unsafe around someone, please let the event-crew know, this may alone be reason enough for us to remove induviduals. Treat sexuality as the sacred portal of life and creatiivity that it is. Have sex with people you love, and do it in private. Soria is not a dating and hook-up arena, don’t come in need and don’t look for girls, it will for sure have you removed from the event. If you seek healthy connection to nature, yourself, your family and your friends – over time healthy partners will appear as a natural concequence of that. Connection starts in you – all other approaches are a waste of your time, please do not waste ours as well. Your lust should never ruin someone elses sense of security and discretion. You feeling free should never ruin someone elses right to feel free. If you are unsure or confued by some of these conditions, please do not come to the event. Soria is not necessarily for everyone. Its better to pull out now, while you are still just in your online browser, rather than being pulled out of the dancefloor for causing disturbance in real time at the Gathering.
